This book is a good pick up for self help and philosophy genre. Below i have mentioned few lines from the book which just holds a lot! The lines are as follows -

"Concern is a mystical concept. It is mostly misunderstood, sometimes confusing and rarely consciously acknowledged."

“A man grows up when he learns to live peacefully with some deep pain in his heart that he can never resolve.”

The sage is all about a soul which is hunting the most beautiful emotion - love. The Sage also looks for faith & a person who loves oneself is the only person who can succeed in being loved.

The storyline is set around the protagonist Nikhil who's in search of answer to the innumerable questions of his own life . Young guys usually search for the faith and love. Same is the case with Nikhil who's starting to recall his past experiences and try to find out what's the actual definition of Love and faith.

He comes across the importance of Self love & self faith. And the only way to gain control over the two is Spritual journey. The author had focused on this Spirituality. It's high time every youth finds out the true meaning and purpose of their lives.

The author must be appreciated for narrating such a beautiful and decent book. I would recommend this book to every one as it teaches you how to fall in love with yourselves.

There would have been a point in everyone's life where we think and ask questions like -

"Who Am I?"

"Why have I been born here, in this world?"

"What is our actual purpose?" The protagonist of this story also has such unanswered questions.

Nikhil, has been searching for answers to his life, like many of us do. Nikhil is traveling back to India after a long gap. While traveling, a whole lot of things ran through his mind. He recalls his Childhood days and his childhood companion, Krishna. The bond between them grew stronger and Krishna became his best companion and a guiding light. This friendship with Krishna had an impact on Nikhil's future too.

Nikhil, who currently has some conflicts or issues in his life, tries hard to resolve them. Unfortunately, life puts him in all the negative situations that he started questioning every concept which he learned as a child. At the end, all these things slowly pulled him towards the path of self realization.

Following are some of the wordings uttered by Krishna which impressed me -

“Always remember that life is a mixed baggage. There would be dark days of puddles and potholes, days filled with smiles and rainbows, and then there would be days when you will shine like a bright sun".

"Memories are actually your most loyal friends. They will never leave you, no matter what you do to them.”

Though there are philosophical and spiritual things in this book, I never felt bored in-between. The narration is extraordinary. The flow was medium paced, neither too fast nor too slow. The language is simple but the meaning of Krishna's preachings were very deep and meaningful. I really enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it to all who loves reading spiritual stuff!

The Sage, a beautiful self-realization book. The book starts with an enticing story of a king and a wise man. Gradually the author has brought the transition to the present story of Nikhil. He has imbibed his life experiences and soulful thoughts through the protagonist. Thoughts/doubts of oneself that run in the mind of every person have been captured and answered in a relatable and enticing manner. The importance of self-love, self-confidence, love is well covered in this book. Unlike the other books of the same genre, this was an interesting read. I loved the enlightening stories narrated by Krishna. Each and every line inked by the author is heart-warming and so relatable. Spiritualism and philosophy have been well blended and presented to the readers in a very enjoyable way. Personally, I learned many things from the experience of Nikhil and the stories of Krishna. You cannot expect to complete this book in a single sitting. One must calmly read the book and slowly take in everything that the author has presented. I loved the character of Nikhil too. The transition of the past memories and the present life’s struggles is wonderfully penned. The story flows unhindered. The title is apt for the plot and the cover is designed so beautifully. Perfect match between the title and the author’s name. Overall, it’s an enlightening read. Recommended for all.

"When you are at that intersection in the road and you've got two paths to go down, because of the impact of certain people in your life, you're able to choose the right path."

The sage , a soul searching journey of love , faith and mysticism , a book by author Rishi Sethi , sets an excellent example for everyone out there to love themselves before anyone else.

This is the story of Nikhil , who has been longing to search the answers of his life . Being naive when young , back to India for a trip , he starts recalling his past experiences and thus begin the journey towards self love , self faith and Spirituality. The author has made sure to take us all on this journey together and make us feel the vibes Who am i ? What is the purpose of my life ? These questions have been bothered to us all , but a few of us actually try to search for the answers and on that way fall in love with themselves.

I would really appreciated the author's way of writing and narrative based upon the experiences. A highly recommended book i must say , to discover the true you and strive on a JOURNEY TOWARDS HAPPINESS.
